About Us

Ciao! We’re Macchè — two Italians in The Hague who believe that good food is meant to be shared.

Founders of Macchè in aprons, celebrating Italian food culture, pasta making, and community traditions.

Pasta making is a ritual, our way to slow down and create memories together.

We both started making pasta at home, on large wooden tables, where many hands worked together to make Sunday's lunch. That was the most intimate moment of the day, when you would share a story, a laugh, and enjoy time as a family.

The years passed, we moved far away, and we forgot about those moments.

One day, a friend asked if we ever made our own pasta at home. That's when we realised we have been missing something: a ritual to slow down, feel grounded, and connect. That day, we made pasta together, and we decided to pass along this tradition.

Now, every workshop is an opportunity to create new memories and share our passion with food lovers. We believe pasta making is a ritual, and we are happy to be the place where your tradition begins.

Our Mission

Preparing food together is a great way to disconnect from a routine, slow down, and connect with people.

Our mission is to help people create their own ritual around food-making.

Our Philosophy

At Macchè, cooking is never about perfection — it’s about connection. We follow the Italian way: cook with love, eat slowly, and take it chill.

Our workshops are hands-on, social, and always with a glass of wine (or two).

We show you how to make fresh pasta, focaccia,
or a full Italian meal that’s both delicious and kind — to the planet, to animals, and yourself.
